Ducati and an open clutch are closely tied together. Ducati made fame with their open clutch and distinctive sound, making it the second distinctive feature on Ducati (after the design itself).
Not all Ducatis come with a dry clutch and many a Ducatist would love his clutch to be visible, whilst maintaining the benefits of a wet clutch.
This Clear Clutch Cover does exactly that. It replaces the stock engine casing / clutch cover, allowing you to see your clutch spin without having to convert to a dry clutch.
You retain the excellent performance of your Ducati's wet clutch, and see you clutch spin through the clear Lexan cover.
It goes without saying that this clutch cover keeps the oil in and water out, your Ducati's performance won't change from installing this clutch cover. Everything is ready to install, no modifications needed.
We recommend to combine installation of this cover with an oil change, but often it will be possible to remove the stock clutch cover and install this cover without even draining the oil, just put the bike on the side stand and the oil will flow to the left crank case side.
This a complete kit, consisting of the engine cover, Lexan window and the retaining ring on the window.
