One of the expressions of this is the fact that the EVR does not move the entire inner basket, but only the upper cover. This ensures less wear and more control. The latter because there is more rotating mass in the game. The coupling does not have to be adjusted and reduces the wear of the clutch plates compared to other slipper couplings.
Due to its low weight, the aluminum EVR Slipper coupling ensures lower rotating mass in the block, resulting in faster rising speeds and therefore a faster engine.
This link also ensures that the chain is loaded less, because it is used less jerky, resulting in a longer lifespan.
