This kit swaps out the oem plastic part for a version in matt or glossy carbon, completely to your preferences. The inside of the cover is laced with a heat-reflective cover, protecting it from damage to the high temperatures emitted by the exhaust pipes.
Note: this heat shield can only be used in combination with a full akrapovic system for the multistrada v4 or v4s models
