A Lithium Ion (LiPo/LiFe/LiFePo) battery should be charged with a dedicated Lithium battery charger, such as the Optimate 1 Duo or Optimate Lithium. Failing to do so may result in damage or personal harm.

The great advantage of a Lithium battery is it's low decharge rate, making this a great battery for any application, especially in vehicles that are left unattended for longer periods of time.
Do make sure to keep the battery sufficiently charged. If a Lithium battery is decharged beyond the threshold, the chemical process stops and cannot be reactivated.
