Krukas reparatie Ducati Ducati Supersport 750 (1991-1997)
Ducati Crankshaft Repair
A damaged crankshaft is quite a problem, but luckily there's always a fix. A new crankshaft will often put you back ca. € 3000,- (excl. conrods), so repair is quite a bit cheaper and better.
Edo Vigna Racing have over 30 years of experience in preparing race engines, and thus have 30 years of experience in repairing damaged components, your crankshaft is in qualified hands.
In this crankshaft repair your crankshaft (conrod pin) is milled to the correct size, hardened and fully assembled, ready to be installed in your engine.
Repair of the crankshaft pin is normally about € 300,- to € 400,- (excl. bearing half halves KB-310 or KB-320, see Related Products at the bottom of this page), which is far cheaper than a new crankshaft. A second hand crankshaft is often more expensive, without the certainty of having quality, so repair is a good way to ensure you get the quality you want.
Full rebuild with titanium conrods will normally cost ca. between € 1500,- and € 2000,-, which is both a great upgrade as well as being cheaper than a replacement crankshaft.
Optionally we can lighten the crankshaft as well.
The final price will differ depending on the extent of the damage, but above examples give an indication of the price range. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us, we're here to help.
Note: when sending the kit in for repair make sure to include the conrods. The kit will be returned to you fully assembled, ready to be installed in the crankcases. If you don't have conrods anymore, please contact us, we will gladly assist you in finding replacements.
