Project idea
With the introduction of more and more advanced technologies, there is an increasingly urgent need to integrate interface devices large enough to allow a good display of all vehicle information. This is certainly the case with the new Ducati Streetfighter V4, which inherits the dashboard from its sister Panigale V4. The difference lies precisely in the fact that the STF V4, being naked, has no covering elements in which to be able to camouflage the instrumentation, unlike the sporty Panigale.
Sketch Idea
The Ducati lines are very sinuous and muscular, and the intent was precisely to examine them and bring them back to a new element. A very complex process, but necessary for everything to merge without creating dissimilitudes.
3D Modelling
The distinctive elements in this project, as you can clearly see, reside in the two lateral air intakes, which in plan follow the outline of the DRL. Here too we find an extension of a deflector, useful to raise the air flow on the pilot, and to further cover the display from the reflections of the sun. The fixing takes place by means of the threads provided on the Ducati dashboard support.
