The injection-moulded nylon bobbins hold a strong aluminium inner which connects to the front wheel via a rolled thread stainless steel spindle rod. Should an incident occur, the crash bobbins are intended to receive any impact first. Furthermore, the nylon bobbins are able to rotate to reduce stress and wear on the lower front end.
