EVR Controlled Torque System slipperkoppeling BMW S1000RR 2009-2018
EVR has over 20 years of experience designing and building innovative products for street and track use. This Controlled Torque System slipperclutch is no different.
Edo Vigna is the inventor of the slipper clutch for motorcycles, and knows its workings and secrets like no other.
One of the innovative aspects of the EVR slipperclutch is the fact that the club hub itself doesn't move, like in most slipperclutches, but only the top cover, like in the stock clutch. The fact that only the pressure plate moves reduces friction and ensures better performance, as the clutch weight can be reduced and thus less rotating mass is at play. This improves engine acceleration, and thus allows the bike to rev easier and faster. EVR clutches are built to specifications and thus do not require modification in order to be used correctly. The unique design reduces wear and tear on the clutch plates compared to other designs.
This kit is suitable for both street and track use, and can be used with the stock clutch plates and basket. The EVR clutch is a drop-in replacement for the stock clutch hub.
