All Balls Racing Revision set for the fuel tap, for div. Hondas with a riveted petrol tap. See application list at the bottom.
A flat petrol tap is a high risk due to the fire hazard. For many older engines, no new petrol faucets are available anymore or they are so expensive that it makes little sense. This revision set is a very affordable alternative. The set contains everything you need for the overhaul of your gas tap.
Note: the set contains both an O-ring and an X-ring for the petrol tap lever. It is therefore normal for you to have an X or O-ring left.

Content of the kit:

1 internal gasket
1 O-ring for the lever
1 x ring for the lever
1 O-ring for the petrol filter
1 drill
2 Self -tapping screws
1 plastic ring for under the lever
1 spring ring for under the lever

Assembly

  1. Content of the kit:
  2. Secure the petrol tap in a vice or hold it with a pair of pliers. For this example, we used a pair of pliers to show how easy this is, but recommend using a vice or column drill:
  3. Drill out the rivets with a 6mm drill (not included)
  4. Then drill a hole in the middle with the supplied drill, the bolts are fixed in it later.
    This drilling will be easy, because it centers well in the previously drilled hole.
  5. Now remove the top plate so that the lever can be removed:
  6. Remove all parts and clean them thoroughly. 
  7. Apply a thin layer of oil or fat to all parts and mount them back:
    1. Gasket 60-2006 is the first to enter, place it correctly.
    2. Remove the gasket from the lever. Coat the new X-ring (gasket 60-4013) and mount it in the groove.
    3. Place the plastic ring 60-5225 on top of the lever, followed by Veerplaat 60-7000.
    4. Place the top plate over the lever again and mount the whole in the housing of the fuel crane.
    5. Make sure that all parts are mounted correctly and then screw it in with the supplied self-tapping screws 60-5086.

    6. Make sure that the top plate comes nicely tightly against the housing to prevent leaks.
  8. And below the result after completion, with the old parts in the foreground. When used on the HAWK, the O-ring remains, with other models this may differ. 
  9. Mount the thin O-ring (60-4017) around the gasoline filter, which ensures a leak-free connection to the tank.
  10. Check that the tap does not leak, and then mount it on the tank.
