Usage:
- Spread the chain preferably when it is warm, for example after a ride of 15 minutes or longer.
- Place the engine on a hind bock or centerbok and put it in neutral.
- Run the rear wheel by hand and apply a thin layer of tsubaki chain wax. Pay extra attention to the pins and the O or X rings to properly protect them.
- Remove excess drops with a clean cloth.
- Leave the engine one night so that the wax can pull in the chain and becomes syrupy. This prevents the lubricant from being thrown away immediately after application.
Maintenance interval:
The grease interval depends on the driving conditions. Under normal circumstances, it is advisable to the chain each 150 to 300 kilometers to lubricate. In rainy or wet conditions, lubrication may be necessary to guarantee optimum protection.
