EVR Edo Vigna Racing

EVR (Edo Vigna Racing) adds technical improvements to your motorcycle. Edo was originally the mechanic for Gualtiero Giacob, known as the owner of G&G Bike, and has dedicated his life to improving technical products for motorcycles.

Edo is the inventor of the slipper clutch for motorcycles; he introduced the first slipper clutch for Ducati in 1994, gaining worldwide recognition. The series began with slipper clutches for the 748-916-996-998 series (which Ducati Corse raced with at the time), and the range has since expanded to include clutches for models such as the Triumph Daytona and the BMW S1000RR.

One of the most important results of Edo's pursuit of technical perfection is the 48-tooth clutch set for Ducatis with dry clutches. In these clutches, the plates impact the basket because their movement is not dampened by an oil bath, as is the case with wet clutches. As a result, both the basket and plates need to be replaced after 15,000 to 30,000 kilometers (depending on use).

The original 12-tooth clutch basket and plates cost around €400, and for the same price, you can buy an EVR clutch plate set plus a 48-tooth clutch basket.

The major advantage of this kit is that the forces are better distributed over 48 teeth instead of 12. This means both the basket and plates last longer, saving money and frustration in the (medium) long term. The kits can be delivered complete (basket, steel plates, and friction plates) or as a kit with plates only.
The 48-tooth set naturally retains the characteristic sound of a dry clutch, but in a more refined form.

Of course, these sets can be used with the original clutch basket, and we also have sets available for use with a slipper clutch. If in doubt, contact us; we are always happy and knowledgeable to help.

Staying with clutches, the rattling of the clutch is one of the first things you notice. It’s characteristic of Ducati, but it shouldn’t be too much.

EVR anti-clank pressure plates reduce clutch rattling to an acceptable level, so you can still enjoy the sound without comments from other riders.
The pressure plate features slots that, in cooperation with the top plate, provide extra pressure in the clutch, improving cooling and cleaning by blowing out debris. A small adjustment with a big result.
With options for a black, red, gold, or titanium-colored base plate and black, red, gold, or titanium-colored top plate, there is a beautiful pressure plate to suit every taste for your clutch.

If you want to go a step further, EVR also offers carbon airboxes. These allow significantly more air through, so much greater results can be achieved with heavy tuning. The advantage of this set over separate air filters is that when installing an EVR air filter box, the air intake is still protected against dirt and water to a much higher degree than with separate pod filters.
