Check out this G&G GP muffler set for the Monster S4 916. We produce the worlds only true GP muffler set for this model. These exhausts are unique in design and fit the design of the Monster like a glove. We've made sure the bike makes a Ducati-worthy sound: dark and sporty. A deep rumble in the lower RPMs, and a very deep and sporty sound all the way up to full throttle. This muffler set is the best upgrade in design and sound that money can buy.
These exhausts are welded from stainless steel by hand and are pure craftsmanship. Inside the muffler is high-grade silicon muffling material, protected by a shroud of heat-absorbing metal matting, to ensure a long lifespan.. The Italian design of the Monster is complemented and added on by these exhausts.
Each kit comes with all installation parts, documents and removable dB-killers.
The exhaust kit can be ordered in either fully Stainless Steel, Shotblasted Stainless Steel (titanium-look) or full black. Optional is a Cerakote ceramic coating, contact us for details.
Ducati, G&G and fueling mapping
There are various stories around Ducati about the need for another ECU. For all motorcycles, it is sensible in any case to check that the fueling settings are still in order with every modification done to the inlet or exhaust route. With Ducati this applies even more strongly, since most Ducati's are hefty two-cylinder engines.
G&G exhausts are designed to be used without modifications. However, it is always advisable to do a run on a Dynojet bench, just to be sure. A run is cheap and provides the correct information to come to a decision.
We recommend that you always have the fueling adjusted. Although it comes at an extra expense, it delivers well more in driving pleasure than it costs in money. Besides that, this also ensures that you're getting the most out of the investment in the muffler set, resulting in more fun and better driveability.
A specifically written map is always better than a universal computer. No two Ducatis are exactly alike, and that difference is enlarged by different exhausts being mounted on them, and a 'universal' ECU only solves that problem marginally.
A G&G damper set plus adjustment of the original computer is always the best solution, and in the cases a lot cheaper.
Better and cheaper, with a heavy sound that makes Ducati and G&G a good match.
